New toolkit to make the case for arts in your local schools

Published in partnership between Bacc for the Future and What Next? the Arts in Schools Toolkit is designed to provide all the information you need to champion arts education in your locality.

The toolkit sets out how to identify the key players who have a say in how education is delivered in your county or borough. It provides suggested templates for letter writing and the key facts to put together your case.

Making a difference

If you do not share your concerns decision makers have no way of knowing arts education is important to parents and voters.

Writing to local decision makers such as your education portfolio holder, schools commissioner or MP shows that arts education is important to voters. The more letters they receive the higher priority access to arts becomes.
