Cultural Learning workforce survey – April 2021

13 April 2021

The Cultural Learning Alliance exists to champion a right to arts and culture for every child. To do this we need a vibrant workforce to deliver cultural learning.

The CLA is asking freelancers and colleagues working in organisations to fill in a short survey about roles in cultural learning, contracts and redundancies by the 30 April.

Impact of the pandemic on the cultural learning workforce

We ran this survey in December 2020, and will be running it again in July 2021, to track changes to the workforce as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. You can read our January blog on the results from the first phase of the survey.

At a time of unprecedented stress for the arts and cultural sector, particularly cultural learning freelancers, we want to record the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the workforce and use the information to advocate for better support.

We have, and will continue to share anonymised results with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to advocate for cultural learning workforce support.

Surveys

If you are employed by an organisation delivering learning activity please fill in the organisations survey of 19 questions about any redundancy risks or cuts to contracts for cultural learning in your organisation:
