These organisations provide specialist advice, guidance, networks and professional development in drama and theatre.

National Drama is the UK's leading professional association of Drama Educators. It is an open and inclusive organisation that welcomes all those involved in Drama for learning and theatre education in any context or setting. The benefits of membership include access to a network of other ND members locally, regionally, nationally and internationally; regional and national conferences with reduced rates for members; access to specialist research; and the opportunity to be involved in new research and visit the website members-only area.

TYA UK Centre of ASSITEJ is a network for makers and promoters of professional theatre for young audiences, linking the UK to theatres, organisations and individual artists around the world. They work for a fuller awareness of the value of theatre for young audiences. Their members and partners in the UK deliver, support and promote professional development for established and emerging artists, festivals and conferences, and provide information about plays, artists, events and trends worldwide.

National Association of the Teaching of Drama (NATD) is an association of teachers from all phases of education. At its heart is the pedagogy of Dorothy Heathcote and the methodology of Drama in Education although all forms of Drama and Theatre are embraced.
