There are a number of opportunities for colleagues to work with the BSA; from being involved in the organisation of events or activities for British Science Week and participation in the British Science Festival, to working with education programmes such as the CREST Awards scheme. CREST is a national award scheme that recognises success, skills and personal achievement in STEM project work. The awards scheme includes the CREST Star scheme for students aged 5 – 11, and the CREST Awards, which give 11-19 year olds opportunities to pursue real-world investigative projects (including Discovery awards that can be earned in a day).
If you are interested in finding out more about the BSA or the CREST Award scheme, or of you fancy exploring a partnership with the British Science Association, please contact them here. And do let us know about any STEAM focussed projects you get involved in.
And for those of you who are new to STEAM, you can read more about it here.
